Justrite Safety Drum Funnel with Self Closing Cover Flame Arrester

Safety Drum Funnels for use with flammables are fitted with a brass flame arrester that absorbs and dissipates heat, preventing any external ignition source (like sparks from power tools, static electricity or cigarettes) from reaching the drum’s flammable contents. Heavy 18-gauge galvanized steel, with electrostatically applied epoxy powder-coat finish, provides durability and chemical resistance. The self close cover has a fusible link that melts at 165ºF (74ºC) shutting the cover automatically in case of a fire to extinguish the flames.

Funnel LHJC-8207 with 6" (152mm) flame arrester is suitable for most requirements
Funnel LHJC-8205 with 32" (813mm) flame arrester provides greater liquid flow.
All funnels comply with EPA and OSHA regulations and are FM approved.
Funnels can be left in place on the drums
