Plant Nappy Spill Containment

Plant Nappy's are designed to contain spillages and leaks of oils and fuels in all weather conditions from mobile plant. Providing an alternative to drip trays in many ways the plant nappies provide advantages. The plant nappies provide spill containment of oil and fuels for generators and site machinery, whilst overcoming the problem of rainwater. the design allows drips and leaks to be caught, while rainwater is filtered by the side walls, allowing pure clean water to escape back into the environment.
Designed to be used with machinery, and driven over the base of the mat is non permeable fabric laminated with an oil soak filter to absorb the oil. The top layer is a permeable fabric allowing free passage for contaminants. The side walls are permeable with a filter fabrix allowing the free flow of water whilst retaining oil.
This is much the same as traditional metal drip trays but without retaining water from rainfall thus ensuring environmental protection at all times. The nappy is rugged enough to stand plant on, or run over, and because there is not retention of water this eliminates costly emptying.
The plant nappy originated from concerns that traditional metal drip trays were a safety problem due to their weight and often caused more environmental harm than good (when full of oily water they can be difficult to handle and often people get careless and ended up spilling them).

The Plant Nappy is available in 3 sizes, small medium and large. Liners are also available in the corresponding sizes, to extend its lifespan
