Lightweight Woodfibre absorbent granules are a favourite with many customers as they are non-dusty, unlike other granules. They are twice as absorbent as clay granules and also cheaper to dispose of than clay absorbents. These woodfibre absorbents are also suitable to be incinerated after use.
These woodfibre absorbents are made in Great Britain and are Class 1 fire retardant (British Standard BS476 part7 Class 1)
Absorbent granules are widely used across many industries as an effective method to clean up spills.
Easy to use, simply pour the absorbent granules around a spill to contain it, and gradually work the granules into the spillage with a stiff brush. Continue to brush the granules in to ensure all of the liquid is absorbed. Once completed, sweep up the granules and dispose of them in a suitable waste bag or bin. For best results sprinkle a thin layer of absorbents over the area as a final check to ensure everything has been absorbed and this will also ensure the area is left clean and slip resistant.
Remember as with all absorbents, the granules should be handled with care as they have absorbed potentially dangerous liquids.
