What is Spill360?
Our Spill360 programme helps your business comply with ISO 14001. Any business that handles liquids that pose a threat to the environment need to have a Spill Control Plan in place.
Spill360 has been designed to take the hassle out of spill control. Incorporating several elements to reduce risk and keep spills under control, we assess and monitor on a regular basis, providing you with important documented information at every stage.
Spill Survey & Risk Assessment
The first stage of the process is to complete a site visit with one of our spill control experts.
We will gather information about your business operations and processes and identify your risks of spill on site. Our site survey will highlight any risks present and the measures you already have in place.
You will receive a spill survey report which details any equipment that may be required to mitigate the risks of spillage or to deal with any spills providing sound reasoning and accountability for your spill equipment on site.
You will also receive our suggestions for spill control; this may include products for immediate risk resolution, ongoing management of products or training requirements.
Programme set up
Our Spill360 programme includes the initial set up by our team, with the agreed spill equipment. Each piece of equipment will correspond to areas where specific risks on your site have been highlighted and agreed.
We will then continue to monitor the equipment usage during our audits and liaise with you to decide if equipment needs to be moved or if risks have changed.
Scheduled Compliance Audits
Our team will maintain your equipment at agreed intervals to ensure ongoing compliance. Our scheduled visits will check;
- Equipment is in the correct location.
- Equipment has the correct spill equipment stocked.
- Equipment is clean and well presented.
- Equipment is in good working condition.
- Report on usage, by area
Spill Kit Replenishment
To suit the agreed site audit times, (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly etc.) we will check all spill stations and kits are still correctly stocked and spill kit lock tags have not been tampered with. Where needed stock will be replaced and reported within the audit documentation.
Detailed Usage Reports
Following our audit we will provide you with a usage report. This will highlight where spill equipment has been used and needed replenishing, any low stock and noticeable issues regarding spill stations, spill kits and spill risks.
Spill360-App
All Spill360 customers have access to the App.
Using the Spill360-App gives you greater control to manage and monitor your spill kits
and equipment across your site(s), at the touch of your screen.
The App provides quick and easy access to your audit reports, the ability to scan your spill kits, log all spill incidents, usage reports and direct order facility.
